Just had to tell you that your grown up puppies website is awesome!!
The slide show is fantastic. I'm loving it and enjoy reading what the other
owners have said about their puppies.
Chinook has a way of capturing your heart & is
so very special. She's not going to be anywhere close to the size of her
brother but her quickness & agility are by far superior.

Hard to believe it's been a whole
year! We had a mini celebration singing "Happy Birthday" and then
following
up with "For he's (she's) a jolly good woofer".. Over the top we are!!
They still respond to singing & if I really want their attention they
also
still remember the "puppy puppy puppy" that you first called them by.

There is a cute pic of Chinook at 1 year &
Nanuq
as well. They continue to be the cutest woofers we know & definately
take
after their Mom as Comfort Queen & King. Why sleep on the floor when
there's a couch or bed nearby.

We feel so fortunate to have two. They are so close to each other we
seldom
separate them anymore. Chinook will always be Sean's puppy and she
adores
Sean but she so loves being with her pack. She more than Nanuq needs &
demands lots of love & attention. We often wake up to find her on a
pillow
next to us. She's just like her Mom when it comes to laying on a bed
with a
pillow. They're both the happiest of puppies & have made this past
year
amazing...my how time flys.

Thought you'd be interested in knowing that Chinook weighed in at 92 lbs
today. Mike, Sean & I took her in for her check up....hoping that with us all there
she'd be less apt to be afraid. Pleased to say she did just fine - at least after the
2 large dogs in front of her left the office. The vet thought she was in great health
but in his words thought she had some upholstery going on...he's a kick & wasn't
concerned but thought the light diet would be good for her as well as Nanuq. We
tend to agree with you however, and aren't worried about their weight. They are
just big dogs. Chinook & Nanuq
spend alot of time playing. I can't imagine only having one...we're so lucky. Hope
your plans to visit puppies does someday happen. It would be great fun to see you.
I still sometimes call them with your "puppy puppy puppy"...I think they would
remember you. As I'm writing this email all 3 are resting right next to me. I think
the shots Chinook had today have made her sleepy. We'll skip her walk today.

Can't remember if I emailed you since Chinook's check up. She's 92 lbs
and
doing just great. This poor vet thought she had some "upholstery"
going on
too but nothing as much as her brothers. She looks perfect to us.
Nikki
just went in for a check up as well and is suprisingly 88 lbs...we
thought
she was lighter. Chinook adores Nikki and just wants to give her
kisses &
lay at her feet. Such hero worship confuses Nikki but she usually
tolerates
it well. Chinook & Nanuq however have a special bond. Chinook was so
happy
to see him after we came home from the lake. It was a quick glance to
say
hi to me & then off to romp with her brother.
Nanuq starts obedience training this week. We went to the first
class
class (minus pups) last week to learn all the details. We'll keep you
posted of his progress. Sean will take Chinook to the next class as we
wanted them to go separately this time. They distract each other when
they're together.

Thought we'd send you a couple recent pics of the pack. (hope they go
through ok) One is typical greeting we get when either of us come home
& the other is both sitting in their favorite spot. Just wondering if
Beckley sings??? Chinook & Nanuq both are very quiet (which is good
in our neighborhood)....but I sometimes wish I could hear them sing.
When I play them their wolf cd they are very much interested in the
singing. They will bark if very excited about something - especially
Chinook, but never in an annoying way.
We can tell Nanuq is maturing. He is very much the alpha male & is
quite regal. Chinook is the little Mother & is frequently licking us,
her brother or Niks. Both are very unique - can you tell how much we
love em....

Wish we had a picture of your pack with the Rainbow vac...Nanuq
doesn't mind the vacuum but Chinook is a little more cautious.
Just had to say we're sorry to hear that there won't be any more
little Comfort Queens & Kings but so grateful we have ours. Let us
know how Timbuk2 does. Oh yes, had to tell you one of our neighbors
has become quite smitten with Chinook & even hinted he'd like to have
her....Ha ha ha...not a chance. Chinook & Nanuq are so attached to
each other there is no separating them (not to mention we wouldn't
think of it)...Poor Sean has to come visit his little Comfort Queen
now. She is just too too precious. Each morning she jumps up on the
bed about 4am & snuggles in between us...Some people might think
we've really gone crazy..ha ha!

Do you still have the grown up puppies page up? We
must have misplaced the address when we changed computers. It was
always fun to see pics of the other puppies. We'd love to have a
professional picture of our two with Nikki but it would be quite the
challenge to get them all together & settled down long enough for a
picture. Nanuq is the easiest to take pictures of. He has absolutely
the most easy going personality of all. Chinook remains the little
love bug & is in constant motion. She's up first in the morning &
always ready to play. She demands attention by nudging you with her
nose or paws. She's the one that would have the most problem with
being alone. It's fortunate Sean's close by and doesn't mind his
puppy living with us. He's over often & they have quite the bond but
she is happier with her little pack. He took a couple pics of his
Chinook when he was over that I'm attaching for you - they're not the
best because she didn't want to sit for a picture but wanted to play
with her Sean.
